Donor Conference Syrian Slide

It has been five years since the onset of the civil war in Syria and there is no end in sight. Today, there are four million Syrians who have been forced to leave their country, and it continues to grow. Syrian families are struggling for basic life essentials such as food, shelter, blankets, water and healthcare.

Humanity First has been assisting Syrian Refugees in Turkey and Jordan with essential supplies and with programs for education of children. Under Private Sponsorship Program, Humanity First has already brought dozens of Syrian Refugees in Canada and continues to sponsor and resettle more Syrian refugees in Canada.

To create awareness and trigger synergetic relationships, Humanity First is organizing this conference to bring various stakeholders and interested groups to share knowledge and develop partnerships that would benefit the sponsorship and resettlement process.

Purpose of Conference:

This conference will have following themes:

  • Sponsorship Process and Challenges
  • Resettlement Process and Challenges
  • Canada’s Role in Refugee Resettlement
  • Canadian Donors and Sponsors Engagement
