Disaster Response

Humanity First has been responding to disasters in various parts of the world. It maintains a vast pool of volunteers in the Canada and many other countries (through its sister HF operations) in six continents. By working with and assisting local authorities, communities can be helped in a cost effective way with their immediate and long term needs after disaster.

Our Approach

Once a disaster is identified that is within the scope of Humanity First our teams are activated in coordination with local volunteers and authorities.  Humanity first Canada remains its pool of volunteers which comprises of professionals willing to volunteer on a short notice. We maintain a pool of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals, engineers, retired military personnel, EMT, and firefighters who are willing to donate their precious time for the humanitarian efforts around the world.
